 I'm proud to say that I am Amanda’s mom and a mother of two boys. I work part time at church and volunteer when I can. My ultimate goal is to glorify God in ALL that I do. I find it a true blessing to be able to make Amanda's dream come true and help others that are going through what we as a family had to endure.  Many are still fighting this terrible disease that we all call cancer. Everyday there is  children diagnosed with cancer and bravely fight this monster. And everyday there are  children dying from this disease. It is my dream to make Amandas last wishes a reality through this foundation and to have her lasting footprints in all that we do.

  I was Amanda's physical therapist. I have been a physical therapist for children for 25 years and am the supervisor of the pediatric Therapy department at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana. We enjoyed our time together whether it was taking steps with a walker, crutches, or no help, or stretching and strengthening her legs, or incorporating her exercises into fun activities like swimming or basketball. I loved and admired Amanda very much. I also miss my beloved brother Steve, who had myosarcoma. My involvement in the foundation is to honor both of these special people and their families.

I have been in an office/bookkeeping career since I graduated high school in 1975. I have worked for many types of businesses including retail, insurance industry, furniture company, real estate and currently for Trinity Evangelical Free Church as their Administrative Assistant.  I am married to Michael Weddle, and we  have a golden retriever named Mollie. Hobbies are:  Picking out plants & flowers to add to our landscaping, doing things with Mollie, being at home with my husband and cooking.
